The islamic followers are called muslims and their centeral belief is in the 5 pillers. The 5 pillers are 1.the belief in Allah 2. prayer (pray five times a day) 3.charity 4.fasting or dont eat or drink 5.pilgramage ( to travel to Mecca or the annual hajj ). The sacraments are to journy to Mecca or Hajj or not to Harman-forbiden acts. The place of worship is called a Mosque and the worship leader called an Imam, reads from the holy book called th Koran and teaches you of the Revelation and the gaol of a muslim. Ramadan is the ninth day of the Islamic calander and people worldwide call the month "the month of fasting". Another holiday is the Hajj. The Hajj is the travel to Mecca and worship around the Kabba. The Kabba is important because it is said that the prophet Muhumad and his son, Ishmel built it. It is expected that 3 million people would be at the hajj because you have to go once in you life time. The common figure of all religions is Abraham and the common point of veiw in god is that he is the all mighty and there is no other god than him.
