Join the PTA Board for the 2023-2024 School Year
Are you looking for ways to get involved next year and make a huge impact within our community? Our PTA elections will be held at our May 17th general meeting, and we have several board positions available next school year:
Secretary: keeps an accurate record of the proceedings of all meetings of the association and the executive board
Treasurer: maintains permanent records to track PTA funds and financial transactions, pays all PTA bills as authorized by board or association, and ensures taxes and reports required by PTA bylaws and local/state governments are completed and submitted by the due dates
Financial Secretary: works closely with the treasurer and other financial officers in handling PTA funds, pays PTA bills, and performs other duties to assist the treasurer
VP of Fundraising: serves as a liaison between fundraiser chairs and the board. The VP also watches for new fundraising and grant opportunities. This individual is NOT in charge of the individual fundraisers.
VP of Communications: works closely with the PTA board and committee chairs to create thorough and unified communications to advertise all PTA events and initiatives in newsletters, social media, and the PTA website.
