January 2021-Featuring Course Selection Information
Congrats to December Super Staffer
Melissa Mansker, 8th grade Math
Mrs. Mansker is a ray of sunshine in her hall. She goes above and beyond each and every day to make sure that not only her students have everything they need, but that her co-workers do as well. Whether it is a Chromebook, 9 volt battery, snack, or a simple word of encouragement, everyone knows that they can always count on her. She treats each and every student with respect, and exactly the way students should be treated. She is always one step ahead; ready to meet the needs of everyone that she comes across with love and a huge heart. She is a tremendous support on this campus by such things as helping make copies, making video lessons for virtual kiddos, and offering advice when needed. She also brings a positive attitude. When a student isn't having their best day, she is there to lift them up. We can always count on our Tik Tok famous teammate to brighten our day!

What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.
While mindfulness is something we all naturally possess, it’s more readily available to us when we practice on a daily basis.

Our Comprehensive Counseling Services
A comprehensive school counseling program is an integral component of our mission.
Comprehensive school counseling programs are driven by student data and based on the Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Program guidelines.
For classroom guidance, counselors visit classrooms multiple times per year to deliver lessons based on the Great 8 skills. Each nine weeks we are focusing on a different Great 8 Skill.
