Second-graders will be visiting The Lincolnshire-Riverwoods Fire Station No. 53 at the end of the month. Families need to pay $1.75 to cover the cost of transportation. The field trip on September 29-30 is part of students' social studies unit on communities. Students will learn about the importance of a fire station and firefighters in our community and they will review fire safety concepts learned in first grade. They will also tour the fire house.

You will need your child's student ID in order to register. You can find this on PowerSchool next to your child's name, where it says GRADES AND ATTENDANCE.

To access the Parent Portal through the new web address, please use the following steps:

1. Go to: https://d103.powerschool.com/public

2. Click on the “Forgot Username or Password” link.

3. On the next screen, click on the “Forgot Username?” tab, enter the email address you previously used for logging into the Parent Portal/Unified Classroom, and click “Enter.”

4. You will then receive an email from powerschool@d103.org containing your username (the email may end up in your spam/junk email). This email may take several minutes to arrive.

5. Next, go back to https://d103.powerschool.com/public and click on the “Forgot Username or Password” link again.

6. This time, select the “Forgot Password?” tab, enter the username you just received in the email, then enter the email address you previously used for logging into the Parent Portal/Unified Classroom.

7. You will then receive an email from powerschool@d103.org containing a link to reset your password (the email may end up in your spam/junk email). This email may take several minutes to arrive. Please follow the directions in the email for resetting your password.

8. After resetting your password, return to https://d103.powerschool.com/public, enter your username and password, and you should then have access to the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
