PTA Executive Board for 2020-2021

Are you a PTA member that's interested in being on the PTA Executive Board for the 2020-2021 school year? We have a Nominating Committee that is taking names of interested candidates. All positions are open. Not a member yet? No problem! Membership is $15 and is available on our PTA website or in the Front Office.


For your reference, here is a quick description of the duties for each board position.


President: Presides over meetings. Coordinates work of the officers and committee members. Represents Unit at Council.

Executive Vice President: Aides the President as needed and helps where needed with other roles.

VP of Membership: Organizes and implements Membership & Pledge Drives and keeps track of membership all year.

VP of Programs: Schedules and coordinates all events run by PTA. Coordinates chairs for events.

VP of Fundraising: Coordinates fundraising activities.

Recording Secretary: Takes the minutes of each meeting.

Treasurer: Assists with making the annual budget. Keeps all financial records. Pays and tracks all bills. Writes and presents Treasurer’s Report. Writes and submits year-end financial report.

Financial Secretary: Makes all deposits and keeps all deposit records. Checks the PTA mailbox regularly.

Auditor: Audits the books the Treasurer keeps twice a year and presents a report to the Unit.

Historian: Keeps an accurate record of volunteer hours and unit history.

IPSF ACE program is coming to Loma!

We are fortunate to have the support of IPSF to coordinate After Classroom Enrichment (ACE) classes here at Loma Ridge this Spring. Please see the abbreviated version of the flier below and reference the email that we sent this week with the full flier and/or the IPSF website for more information.

A few reminders

Please remember to check our lost and found for any items your child might be missing. It's located outside of the front office in building A. Also, please remember to have your child check in at the front office when arriving after our 8:20 AM start of school. He/she will need a pass to go to class once the school day has started. Thank you for your support.

Re-registration for 2020-2021: Let us know if your roadrunner will be returning

It's already time to begin planning for next year. It is incredibly helpful for us to know how many children we will have enrolled for next year since we begin the staffing process in the spring. Please take a moment to fill out our re-registration form for each child you have enrolled by clicking here. We greatly appreciate your support!

Yogurtland Available After School on Wednesdays

As a reminder, Yogurtland yogurt cups will be sold immediately after school in the front courtyard for $4 per cup and 30% of sales goes to Loma Ridge PTA.
