MESSAGE FROM DR. CHURCH
Dear Totem Falls Families,
Thank you so much for your recent support of the PTO fundraiser which brought in well over $20,000. As you may, or may not know, I shared I would have my office on the roof for the day if students met this fundraising goal. I am getting all my foul weather, deep cold gear out to fulfill my commitment this Thursday, November 18th. It has been fun listening to your children talk about the where’s, what’s, and how’s of spending the day atop the school. They have many suggestions! I really enjoy celebrating in this way with students, who will remember their principal on the roof for years to come. Creating positive school memories from events that bring our community together is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. Don’t forget to wave as you drive by next week!
GRIZZLY CUB MEET UP
Wednesday, November 17th in the GP Commons. We are writing letters to members of the military. Event times are 4-7PM
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY- Grizzlies and cubs are not asked, allowed, or required to be here that entire time. This is only about a 30 minute event. I know many grizzlies and cubs play sports, have jobs etc.... PLEASE CONNECT with your grizzly/cub and figure out a time to MEET here at GP. Grizzlies and Cubs can then each write a letter to a service member and visit for a short while.
We are writing letters to members of the military. We are also collecting items for our adopt a soldier event. Please bring one of the following items to donate:
-Men’s black crew socks
-First Aid items
-hard candy (no chocolate)
-individual coffee packets (dry)
-powdered energy drinks
