Camp Mi-Bro-Be Reminders for Trailblazers team
Team Trailblazers Families,
Your child heads out to camp tomorrow. We want to provide a few reminders about their time away. First, a reminder that all students must pack a lunch for the first day. Tomorrow, parents are to bring children with reinforced luggage (not single ply garbage bags) to the school by 8:45am. A truck will be in the main parking lot by the Auditorium doors to accept all belongings except the lunches. Students will then meet in the cafeteria and buses will depart before 10:00am.
On Friday, students will return to school shortly after noon. The truck will be unloaded in the back bus area. When buses arrive, they will also unload in the back bus area. Parents are permitted to park in this area for pick-up since it is before buses arrive for school dismissal.
It is also a policy of camp that students may NOT have their personal cell phones at camp. This is partially due to complications with the devices and there is also a lack of signal on the property. There are landlines available if the staff need to contact parents. Please do not send cell phones, mp3s or other electronics to camp.
A strong warning was also given to students about bringing snacks (or any other food items) to camp. Being in the wild means that all types of critters of various sizes can be strongly attracted to food smells from candy, cookies, etc.
Finally, questions can be directed to Dr. Ruman via email and he can respond when he is not at camp. ( wruman@bereaschools.org )
Thanks and have a great week at camp Trailblazers!

Makers Space at BMMS
BMMS Makerspace is up and running in our library! A Makerspace is a place that allows creativity and innovation with our students. In the Makerspace students will have the freedom to design, create, build, and collaborate. Makerspaces provide a place for students to explore, tinker, and develop something that may not be possible to create without a space or resources. This will be a place students can use during enrichment, in an after-school club, or with a class on a project.
We are looking to our BMMS families for help in gathering more materials to use for our Makerspace. If you have any of the items listed below that perhaps your family has outgrown or can be repurposed please send them into school. A box will be setup in the library for donations. Thank you in advance for your consideration and willingness to help Berea-Midpark Middle School’s Makerspace succeed. We are really excited to have students start creating!
Thank you,
Katina Anagnostou
