Ruby Bridges
Ruby Bridges was the first African-American child to go to an all-white elementary school in America.Ruby Bridges was born on September 8, 1954, in Tylertown, Mississippi, and grew up on the farm her parents and grandparents sharecropped in Mississippi.
Martin Luther King Jr.
Martin luther King’s speech about segregation.He said he will not be satisfied until segregation is dead in America.An he said every man must decide weather he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness.
Cesar Chavez
Cesar Chavez,born in March 31,1927,wanted for people and for him who worked hard to get paid the right amount of money.He lived a hard life and wanted all of the problems to be solved.He wanted to solve the problems non-violent,so he did a march called “the chicano movement.”Tons of people joined him and at the end they made it,they got paid the fair amount of money they were supposed
to.
Malcolm X
His father’s outspoken championing of civil rights resulted in death threats from the white supremacist group, Black Legion, and they are generally supposed responsible for the death of Earl Little in Lansing, Michigan, on 28th September 1931, although the cause of death recorded officially was that he had been run over by a tram. His death resulted in Louise’s gradual mental breakdown, and she was admitted to an institution in 1939, and young Malcolm and his siblings were split between a number of foster homes and orphanages.
