IT'S OUR TURN TO DO LUNCH AND SWIFT DROP OFF!

Each class is responsible for 2 weeks of swift drop off and lunch volunteering. THEN WE ARE DONE FOR THE YEAR!! Ms Heather's class is responsible for the period of Monday 10/14 - Friday 10/25. There are over sixty spots to fill so we need all hands on deck! If you do not have your TB Test you can sign up for Lunch Clean-Up. You must have a TB test for Swift Drop Off and Lunch Assistance to please get this done ASAP. (More details below)


Sign up sheets will be available during Parent Teacher Conference.

Swift Drop Off times are: 8:15am - 8:35am

**Volunteering for this job keeps our TA in the class for an extra HOUR in the morning with our kids!! If we don't do it, Leah does.

MR BONES PUMPKIN PATCH WITH FIRST GRADE CLASS

Wednesday, Oct. 9th 2013 at 2pm

Join the first grade class after school on Weds at Mr Bones Pumpkin Patch!



Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch - boasts a huge petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, a straw maze, a super slid, a gigantic rocking horse and pumpkin bounce house. You can purchase mini pumpkins for as little as $1 or up to $60 for a giant one. They have tools for carving and decorating your pumpkin and a ton of spooky decor.


Where: 702 North Doheny Drive in West Hollywood
Cost: Free on weekdays. Not sure how much they charge for the face painting, etc on weekdays.

CLASS LAUNDRY

CWC'S GOT TALENT COMMUNITY BOOK

One of our amazing moms, Jen Newton, is compiling a Community Book, a sort of CWC Yellow Pages, that includes our talented parents and what they do. This book will be available to us so we can hire someone in our community the next time we need a service.


If you are interested in being included in this book, Ms Heather will have a questionnaire to fill out at your parent teacher conference next week.

If you are uncomfortable with your email being public to the class for any reason, please let me know so I can remove your address from our list. Ms Heather will keep it private as well. Ms. Heather's Weekly Class Playdates

Erin is super excited to help organize weekly playdates so we can get to know each other and our kids can have some romp time. If you are interested in participating, just let her know.

MOBILE LIVE SCAN RETURNS!

If you are interested in volunteering in the class and are still waiting to get your Livescan but are not sure where to go, the UPS store on Sunset can perform the LIvescan but for your convenience, Jen Newton has secured the Mobile truck to visit CWC Again. Look for it at the North Campus at 7:45 am on October 9, and at the South Campus on October 17, 2013 at 2:30.

Schools cool and all, but I love to liven things up. If you have something you would like to share with the class; favorite no-fuss, clean the plate lunch time recipes, for instance,or a neat craft or game you love to play, please do! ROOM CLEANING EVERY WEDNESDAY!

We have a weekly room clean-up to keep the room clean and germ free for our little students. Please participate every Wednesday at 1:30. DUE TO PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES, MS HEATHER HAS BREAKS AS FOLLOWS
