A group activity for the whole village. Mostly common in Southern Africa.
Use drums, rattlers, rainsticks, bells, and clapping for instruments. Music is used in many different ceremonies.

East African Music
Has gone through many changes over the course of history.
The music uses drums, and xylophones as instruments.

East African Music has adapted to Jazz, and Blues in America. A song in America that incorporates African Music is "Under African Skies", by Paul Simon.
