June 4, 2021

Dear Kumeyaay Families,

The end of this school year is just around the corner! We have made it through together. Thank you for completing your enrollment survey for next year. We look forward to resuming our regular bell schedule and five days a week of in-person learning.

If you have an opportunity, please stop by our front gate on Monday to see beautiful class artwork. Our teachers and students continue to amaze us with their greatness!

Have a relaxing and restful weekend.

In Partnership,

Angela Zarzosa, Kumeyaay Elementary, Principal

Classroom Art Auction

Kumeyaay Classroom Art Auction - Get Ready to Bid!!

Over the past several years, one of the highlights of our annual Spring Fling has been the classroom art project auction. Since we were unable to host our Spring Fling Event & Auction, we thought parents would enjoy the chance to bid and win their child's Class Art Project. Most classrooms created amazing art projects.

The Art Items will be displayed before school on Monday 6/7 around the flag pole.

The online auction will run from Tuesday 6/8 - Thursday 6/10. The auction will end at 6:00 pm.

Since our online auction will only run for 3 days, make sure you bid quickly and often so you don't miss out!

Help Us Reach Our Goal!

The Kumeyaay Foundation works year-round at raising donations to fund our Music, Physical Education, and Fine Artists programs. Each school year, we start fresh at raising the necessary funds. Due to COVID-19, it has been nearly impossible to fundraise since March 2020, meaning that some of our fundraising events did not happen. We are in good shape to support the school for this coming fall, but we urge you, if you are able, to support our Foundation so that we can ensure our ongoing support for the coming academic year and beyond.
