Ribbon eel

Description
The ribbon eel's main colors are blue and yellow but sometimes they come with a black strip. It's a long, thin eel with trumpet-like nostrils and and a lower jaw with three tentacles. They grow up to a meter of 3.3 feet.
Fact 1
All ribbon eels start off as males and are black with a yellow dorsal fin. After the male's body reaches a certain length, it begins to turn yellow and will develop female parts until it is able to lay eggs.
Fact 2
Ribbon eels live up to 20 years, but in capacity they rarely live longer than a month.
Fact 3
Ribbon eel's colors change as their maturity changes.
