Admin Corner
We want to thank all of our students, families and staff for following COVID protocols. We know it takes a commitment to health and safety from everyone, and we appreciate your continued support of our schools. Please remember to keep your child home if he/she is sick.
MES School Site Council
Are you looking to get involved at Mammoth Elementary School this year? If so, please consider joining the MES School Site Council. We are still looking for three parents/guardians who can commit to four meetings per year to help develop the school plan for student achievement. For more information about School Site Council, please click here.
If you are interested in joining the MES School Site Council, please contact Denise LaFramboise at dlaframboise@mammothusd.org.

MUSD Illness Protocols and Attendance
Please remember that if your child is ill, they should remain home from school. Please do not send your student to school if they have symptoms. Once your student has had no fever in the last 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications, there are three options to return to school. Your student may get a medical note clearing him/her to return safely to school. OR You can provide documentation of a negative COVID test (negative PCR results can be emailed to: cmoxley@mammothusd.org). OR, lastly, your student may remain out of school for 10 days since symptom onset.
We are providing the following information to clarify our protocols for attendance during the Covid-19 pandemic. Please see the flowchart below which has changed since last school year. (COVID Flow Charts Updated August 2021 is linked here.)
Please see the Mono County Coronavirus Health & Testing Page linked here for updated testing availability. (Consulte la página del condado de Mono del coronavirus de pruebas y salud vinculada aquí para obtener información actualizada sobre la disponibilidad de las pruebas.)
2021-22 School Bus Schedule
Husky Pup Fun Run
Each day this week will have a different theme to keep everyone excited and having fun. You can send your kids to school in theme or even get your whole family out on the route dressed in theme!
Tuesday: Rainbow Day
Wednesday: Backwards Day
Thursday: Pajama Day
Friday: School Spirit/School Colors Day (Blue and Gold!)
Saturday: Costume Day
Sunday: Family Day
We are just under halfway to our $60,000 goal, so keep raising those funds! The team (grade level) that raises the most amount of money will win $500 to be used by their teacher for a party or special project of their choosing! Also, every student who raises ANY amount of money will automatically be entered into our prize raffle drawing. For every $100 raised, the student will get another entry into the raffle. Help us make this year another success so that we can continue to support our amazing students, teachers and staff at MES!
