Kindergarten Updates

We are off to a great start in the month of October! In our art center, the children have been painting a pumpkin to put in our pumpkin patch. In math, we have been putting our numbers in order from 1-20. We have been working in our number books with writing the numbers 0-10. Practice counting to 100 and writing numbers to 20 at home. In a math center, we have been using shapes to create scarecrows. They have used triangles, rectangles, a circle and a square to create the scarecrow.

Next week is Fire Prevention Week. Starting on Monday, your child will have family homework related to fire safety. Look for it daily and please send it back.

TODAY: We are sending brain break towels home! Please wash the towel and return to school on Monday. Thank you!
