Books & Breakfast with Buddies - January 27
We are excited to try something new this year to kick off I Love To Read Month! On Wednesday, January 27th, from 8:00 - 8:30, we will be hosting a virtual event called Books and Breakfast with Buddies! This event will be for our K-7 students and families. On the morning of January 27th, instead of having our morning meeting, families will have the option to sign up for a breakfast delivery, and every student will be receiving a new book! We are asking for “buddies” (moms, dads, grandparents, older siblings, aunts, uncles, older cousins, caretakers, guardians - anyone over the age of 18) to volunteer to share their favorite short picture book with the students. If you don’t have a favorite book, but would like to read to a group of students, we will gladly send a book to you to read! Even students who don't have a buddy to join them will have breakfast delivered, be included in small groups, and have the pleasure of listening to other buddies read to them.
Sign Up for breakfast delivery and/or volunteer readers using the following link.
