We believe all educators share the responsibility for the continuous growth for our students within a safe, caring environment. We will establish high expectations and provide standards-based instruction through professional development,reflection, and collaboration. We respect and value diversity while empowering students to achieve their personal best.
Our Values
One of only 70 schools in Missouri, and the first school in the Wentzville School District, Green Tree Elementary was recently awarded the distinction of being a Silver Award winning Positive Behavior Support (PBS) school for outstanding character education.
Annual Performance Report of 96.1%
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has released the Annual Performance Report and the Wentzville School District scored 96.1% out of a possible 100% as part of the Missouri School Improvement Plan, a rigorous evaluation tool for rating the performance of Missouri school districts.
Innovative Technology
The Wentzville School District has implemented a 1:1 Technology Initiative that places a high priority on up‐to‐ date access and integration of technology in and out of the classroom.
Singapore Math
We utilize a math program that incorporates curriculum built on the successful teaching approach in Singapore, the world’s leading country in student math achievement. Singapore Math is designed to build student understanding by teaching mathematical concepts from concrete through pictorial to abstract.
We are more than just a school... we are a community.
- Adopt-a-Family- providing families in need with gifts during the holiday season.
- Warner's Winter Warm-Up- partnering up with the Lake St. Louis Police Department to collect coats to help those in need.
- "Yes We Can" food drive- collecting over 800 cans for our local food pantry.
- Jump Rope for Heart- jump roping for the American Heart Association.
