The preamble

Introduction

The preamble is the introduction to the constitution made to make a more perfect union, the past rules was named the articles of confederation. The articles did not do there job in keeping the country United, so then the country was falling apart. That's when the constitution came in and so did the preamble.

Causes

The constitution was made to make a better job than the articles of confederation. Then the preamble was made to introduce the people to the constitution. It says

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.

Significance

The preamble and the constitution made the U.S. into what it is today, whithout the constitution the U.S. would of probably fallen apart. Peoples live were changed in freedom and in liberty, every single amendment made this possible from the very beginning september 17, 1787 to this day.

Conclusion

We think that the preamble is a very important part of are history. It is why are government is what it is. Its not the best but it is better then other government out there.
