Owl Notes

*2.5 DAYS - We got this!! Enjoy these last few days before we enter into the season of celebrating. Stay focused and stay patient! EVERYONE is ready for a well deserved break!

*CTT/ACTIVE START - There will be no CTT or Active Start these 2.5 days!

*LOUNGE FRIDGE - Please make sure and clean out anything that belongs to you in the lounge fridge and/or freezer. We will clean it out Wednesday before we leave. If you have a team fridge, you might want to clean it out, too.

* PTO LUNCHEON - Please take a moment this week and drop PTO a note of thanks! For the amazing gifts and luncheon. They work super hard to support our "extra" needs!

* PAY CHECK REMINDER - Remember that our paychecks are adjusted to fit the holiday season. Monday is our next paycheck, December 17 and that is really your January 1 check. We don't get paid again until again till January 15. Just a reminder to plan accordingly!

*POLAR EXPRESS DAY - We will have Polar Express Day/pj day on Tuesday, December 18. Please join us in wearing school appropriate pajamas to school that day, if you would like.

*GT NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN -Until the end of the day December 19. If you or a parent want to nominate a student for testing, the completed nomination form must be in Deanna's possession before you leave for break!

Monday - Walking taco bar

Tuesday - Polar Express day - wear your school appropriate PJs and enjoy some hot cocoa and cookies in the lounge

Wednesday - Surprise gift day!

If you want to leave at 2:30 on Wednesday, you will need to:

Clock in at 7:15 on Monday and Tuesday

Clock out at 3:45 on Monday and Tuesday

That will give you the one hour of time and you can clock out at 2:30 on Wednesday instead of 3:30.

TUESDAY - Polar Express Day

WEDNESDAY - Countdown the hours...

Yearly, Junior League of North Harris County and South Montgomery County offer a guest speaker to teacher/staff in area district, including CISD. This year the event will take place on Saturday, February 9 with doors opening at 8 and presentation starting at 9. DR. RICK RIGSBY will be the guest speaker this year. I've included a clip from him so that you can hear what we are in for that morning. If you are interested in attending, the link to Eduphoria registration is below. He sounds amazing!!!
