February 20-25, 2023

Sherwood Park - Fort Saskatchewan - Vegreville

We hope everyone had a wonderful Family Day weekend! Tuesday is Instructional day #13 of 86, and we are now 15% of the way through semester 2 for non-diploma courses. Students are required to check in and meet with their instructor(s) weekly. It is recommended that multiple check ins occur each week to ensure successful completion of academic course work. Students not adhering to the weekly check in schedule may be removed from the course.

Have a great week! Mr. Spady Principal & Mrs. Porter Assistant Principal

EIPS is conducting online returning student registration process to confirm student registrations for the 2023-24 school year. Families of all current students—with the exception of graduating Grade 12 students—must complete the process to confirm the school their child plans to attend in the 2023-24 school year or advise the Division of their plans not to return to EIPS. Returning student registration takes place February 1-28, 2023. For more information, contact the school at 780-464-1899

Kindness 101

Students share simple ideas on how and why to be kind on campus.

Alberta Education Assurance Survey

Alberta Education is surveying teachers, students and families through its annual Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) Survey. Alberta Education conducts the survey to gather information about the quality of education provided by Alberta schools and school authorities. The survey looks at various measures such as education quality, citizenship, family involvement, engagement levels, school climate and student wellness.

Additionally, parents and guardians are also asked to take a survey, either online or by mail. Alberta Education will send families information about the survey directly. As with the student and teacher survey, it’s anonymous and asks questions about your school experiences. We encourage you to participate. The survey deadline has been extended to March 17, 2023.
