Parent Volunteers Needed for the Excursion
Next Tuesday the year ones have the wonderful opportunity for an excursion to the Perth Hills Discovery Centre. This is an excellent way to extend and consolidate the children’s learning particularly in reference to our cross curricular program on Fridays. The students from rooms 8, 9 and 10 will be taking part in a series of learning activities relating to traditional Noongar culture. The excursion will take place next Tuesday the 10th of September and costs $25.00. There are still some permission slips and money not returned, please hand these in to Miss Stone on Monday.
We require 3 parent helpers. The amazing Richelle has already signed up. If you are available and would like to attend please sign up on the door and fill in a confidentiality declaration (attached) and return to Miss Stone Monday morning.
Faction Carnival
Next week on Friday 13 September is the faction carnival. You are encouraged to come along and cheer on your children. There will be a cake and coffee stall hosted by the P&C. Special lunches are available at the canteen for students and parents to order. If you require any more information about the sports carnival please access the school website in the curriculum/sport section.
