AMA Summer Program 2016

We are excited to invite you to our innovative Summer Program where students will have a blast while learning about fascinating topics and fundamental skills in reading, writing and math. We look forward to creating wonderful memories with your child this summer. We are passionate about allowing our campers opportunities to learn, socialize and grow, all while having fun!

New AMA Staff Member

With our growth and commitment to excellence, we have identified the need for a new position and are pleased and proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Chelsea Maltas as AmeriMont Academy’s Director of Facilities and Events. Ms. Maltas will help each of our three campuses to promote consistency, coordinate the logistics of events, monitor safety, maintain stock levels, supervise maintenance at each campus, as well as manage our kitchen, transportation, and technology resources. She is a dedicated and experienced school administrator and looks forward to being a direct contact and resource for our families.​ Ms. Maltas has several years of experience in administration and served the last five years as theCampus Director at Heritage Oak Private School. Please join us in welcoming Ms. Maltas to the AmeriMont Academy family, she will officially begin her tenure on 5 July 2016. Below is her letter of introduction.


Dear Parents,

It is with great enthusiasm that I write you this letter to introduce myself. My name is Chelsea Maltas and I have been given the privilege to serve as your new Director of Facilities and Events starting Tuesday, July 5th. I am looking forward to being a part of the AmeriMont Academy family and am excited to meet each of you. My background is in school administration, serving as Campus Director for the previous five years. Within this position I acted as the liaison between the school and the families we served. The day to day coordination of the school campus, events, staff, and families was my primary responsibility while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all. As Director of Facilities and Events it is my priority to meet all children, parent, and staff needs on a daily basis. In addition, I will also maintain the standard of excellence on each campus ensuring they are maintained and problem free. I am committed to keeping safety a priority as I oversee the three campuses. I am thrilled to bring my knowledge and skills to AmeriMont Academy and am excited to work with each of you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me; my door is always open.

Field Trip

It's our last field trip of the year! Let's celebrate all our scholars' hard work by having some fun!!! We will be visiting Billy Beez Indoor Play Ground on Friday, May 27th. Permission slips have been sent home and you can also click here to view or print the form. Please return by Monday, May 23rd. All parents are welcome to chaperone.

Learning Walk

We are excited to announce that we are hosting Learning Walk for parents of our 1st and 2nd grade scholars on Friday, June 3rd from 8:15 am to 9:15 am.

Scholar Art Gallery

We are happy to announce our scholars' very first ART GALLERY! Each child will create a masterpiece on canvas provided by our PO and the canvases will be displayed in our library on Friday, May 27th until Friday, June 3rd! During this time you can view your child's work of art. You will find a PO donation envelope next to each canvas where you may make a donation for your child's art masterpiece and enjoy it at home! Remember, "the world is but a canvas to the imagination". -Thoreau

Corner Bakery Cafe

On Friday, June 3rd eat out or dine in at the Corner Bakery Cafe at 5747 East Santa Ana Canyon Road in Anaheim Hills from 12 noon until closing! Have a group lunch or dinner with friends and family!!! Flyers will be handed out for families to take to the restaurant so our school can receive 15% of all purchases! Thank you in advance for your generous support!

PO Bake Sale

Are you ready for yummy treats and delicious sweets! Come and enjoy some baked goodies on June 7th and 8th from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. Students can bring in money to purchase snacks! If you are interested in baking something for the bake sale or help cashier, there will be sign up sheets in the front office.

Father's Field Day

On Friday, June 10th from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm AMA fathers or loved ones are invited to join us for our Father's Day Field Day! It will be a fun-filled afternoon with games and activities for everyone to enjoy!

AMA Family Carnival & Silent Auction Baskets

Mark your calendar for June 12, 2016 at 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, for our AMA Family Carnival! This PO sponsored event will be one that you won’t want to miss; with games for the children, a bouncer, face painting and much more! Food will be available for purchase. Be sure to join us for all the fun!!!


During the carnival "themed" baskets will be auctioned off during our silent auction! Each classroom gets to create a themed basket! Flyers will be sent home Tuesday with your child’s classroom theme and donation suggestions.

Last Day of School

Our last day of school, Thursday, June 16th, we will be holding our End of the Year Program including Trimester Awards and Promotion Ceremony in the morning!


TK will be at 8:30 am in the TK classroom

KG will be at 8:15 am in room 6

followed by our end of the year performance (session I)

1st & 2nd grades will be at 9:00 am in room 6

followed by our end of the year performance (session II)


After all awards, promotion and performances, all families are welcome to enjoy a school gathering on our playground/grass area. Feel free to bring your own snacks/lunch for your family, blankets and chairs. We will have music, yearbook signing and some outside fun! It will also be a minimum day and extended care will be provided as usual.

Pre-K and TK Graduation

Our Preschool and Transitional Kindergarten Graduation will take place on Friday, June 24th at our Anaheim Hills Preschool Campus. Congratulations to all our little graduates!!!
