Back to School Newsletter August 2021
Hello CCES Families!
I am thrilled to be joining the great team of CCES and excited to meet all of you as we adventure through a new school year. As I have the opportunity to meet many of you throughout the beginning of this school year, I would like to spend a quick moment sharing some things about me to each of you.
I have had the honor and privilege of working within RSU 64 for the last four years at the middle school as one of the special education teachers. As an educator, I enjoy helping students see their value and potential to be great! I enjoy teaching all subjects but must say math is probably my favorite. Before teaching in RSU 64, I taught in Canada for 10 years while my husband and I ran our own business and started our family. We have been married for 14 years now and have two beautiful daughters. One is 8… going on 18… and our other daughter is 7 weeks old. They are already best friends and we have fallen in love a million times over with our newest blessing. Outside of school my favorite thing to do is spend time with family and friends. This might include spending time around a bonfire, sitting and chatting, or doing anything that allows us to make memories with one another.
As I begin this school year as your new principal, I look forward to making memories with my new family at CCES, that includes all of you! I know a new school year, especially now with all that is going on around us, may bring some concerns and worries but please don’t fret, we are here FOR you! One of the many ways you can connect with us is through our very new district app, RSU 64. It truly is “Everything RSU 64 in your pocket.” You can also reach out to us through phone, emails, or stopping by. We want to wish you all the very best school year and we can’t wait to see you all in a few short days!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Carr

Breakfast and Lunch Program is free to ALL students during the 2021-2022 school year. Please make sure to complete the eligibility form as always. However, all students will be able to participate.
Snacks are encouraged. Teachers provide a snack time for students daily. Please send a healthy snack for your child each day.
Water Bottles can be sent to school with students to refill at the water filling stations. It is important to stay hydrated and we encourage students to bring their water bottle to school each day.
Parent Drop Off and Pick Up will continue as it did last year. During drop off please utilize the bus loop or the parent drop off loop. Please do not drop off prior to 7:30am, as we do not have staff available to supervise students prior to that time.
During pick up please use the parent loop only and try to arrive at your designated time for pick up. If your pick time does not work for you, please contact the main office to make changes.
