Class Information

Math- .Students will take a quiz over angle measurements: supplementary angles, triangle interior, triangle exterior, vertical angles, and parallel lines. After the quiz students will work on their "Important Book" page for Unit 4. This is where students pick a topic from this unit (supplementary angles, interior/exterior angles of triangles, vertical angles, and parallel lines cut by transversals) and create a children's book page on what is most important from the unit. Announcement: Unit 4, Week 1 homework is due on Monday. Monday will also be our unit 4 test review. Tuesday, January 12 is our unit 4 test over supplementary angles, interior/exterior angles of triangles, vertical angles, and parallel lines cut by transversals.

Science- Today in science class, students are taking a quiz over cell theory and what makes something "living" versus "nonliving." Students will be reading an article about Louis Pasteur and the pasteurization process today and answering questions.

Social Studies- We will complete Executive Branch work! We then move to the Judicial Branch. We will learn about the Federal Court System.

English Language Arts - Today students who have not completed or turned in Monday's assignment are working on it. The rest of the students are either completing notes (if they were absent on Wednesday and Thursday) or working on i-Ready lessons. ANNOUNCEMENTS: I am posting all assignments done in class in e-Campus, which can be found by using the link at the bottom of this newsletter or by clicking on the link at The username is the student's ID number (lunch number) and the password is his/her birthdate (MMDDYYYY).
