All Things Baker!
Principal's Message!
Hello All,
Most of the answers to these questions are so much more complicated than they seem, especially to kiddos that are trying to navigate the world as they approach young adulthood. I also was struck with the notion that kiddos learn from what the see. We have to model the behavior we want to see in our young people. They have see to us being courgaeous and choosing the right thing! Here's to another week of learning from and growing with our kiddos!
Thank you all for your support and sharing your little people with us! Please remember, at Baker Elementary we believe In a World Where You Can Be Anything . . . Be Kind!
Sincerely,
Danielle Wallace

Lovepacs!
Dear Parent or Guardian,
The holidays are approaching and we want to make you aware of a program
available to support families in Prosper ISD while school is not in session. For Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break and Spring Break our school district is working with Lovepacs to help families supplement their food resources.
During these extended breaks, families often need double the amount of food they typically
use due to their students being home all day from school. Lovepacs work with area schools to provide families with additional food to cover their increased need within their family by supplying food packs.
These food packs will include items such as bread, rice, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, snacks, canned vegetables, canned fruits and canned meats— enough to feed your child breakfast, lunch, and snack each day of the break.
Prior to the holiday breaks, Lovepacs will deliver food packs to the school of your choice or deliver to your home for families that choose to participate.
No identifying information about your child will be shared with Lovepacs.
More information on Lovepacs is available at http://www.Lovepacs.org/Prosper
If you would like to receive a Lovepac, please click here to complete the online form by November 14, 2019 in order to participate for Thanksgiving Break. If you need assistance with the online form or have questions, please reach out to your child’s counselor.
PEF Outdoor Movie Night!
Join us for a night under the stars at PEF’s Outdoor Movie Night and watch The Greatest Showman on the biggest jumbotron in Texas! Bring a blanket and take to the field for a great seat at our Children’s Heath Stadium for the show. Popcorn, drinks and light up goodies will be available for purchase. Gates open one hour before showtime. The movie is free, but donations are encouraged! Make your donation at the gate or online now. All funds will go toward PEF’s Senior Scholarships for the Class of 2020! Seats are available on the field or in the stands on a first come first serve basis. Only water will be allowed on the field, but concessions can be enjoyed throughout the stadium during the event.
Remember, the clear bag policy applies to this event, and no outside food or beverages are permitted inside the stadium. For more information, contact us at info@prosperef.org. Thank you for supporting this event for Senior Scholarships!
Rain Plan: Should inclement weather cause us to cancel the event we will post information here on our website and on our social media pages. The rescheduled date for the show will be Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 2:30pm. Gates will open at 1:30 pm. Once again we will collect donations at the door that will go toward Senior Scholarships. Once again, popcorn and drinks will be available for purchase, but only water will be allowed on the field.
