Field Flash
February 22, 2021
Dear Field Parents and Guardians,
We hope that you have managed all the shoveling and snow this week! While we are definitely still in the midst of winter and the pandemic, we are beginning to think about next school year. Each year, parents are provided the opportunity to share important information about their children. This information helps us when we group and place students together in classrooms. If you are interested in sharing information, please complete this optional form by March 19th. Thank you, in advance, for sharing this information!
I also want to remind you to take a moment to complete the 5Essentials survey. I emailed information on February 16th. Here's a link to the survey, as well.
Thank you to our many students and families who participated in our Kindness Week this past week. You can check out a photo below featuring some of the participation!
This week is our school picture week! Please be sure to review the information below regarding online ordering. All orders will be taken online, and no paper or money will be passed or handed in on picture days. Please be sure to mark your calendars! If your child is remote and you will not be joining us for pictures, stay tuned for how you can submit a picture for the yearbook.
For our in-person families, thank you for your participation in our new lanyard system. Each morning we will Look for the Lanyard around your child's neck. The lanyard will signal to us that you've conducted the daily health certification. This means you've checked your child's temperature at home and reviewed the symptoms checklist. If your child comes to school without the lanyard, our nurse will check your child's temperature and review the symptoms. We'll follow up with parents via email. Thanks for helping us as we Look for the Lanyard! This program has been very successful so far with most of our students wearing their lanyards each day.
We hope you all have a nice weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Courtney Goodman
Principal
Park Ridge-Niles School District 64’s mission is as follows:
