The Boston Massacure
The Stamp Act
The Boston Tea Party
The Boston Tea Party was a political protest by the Sons of Liberty in Boston, on December 16, 1773. The demonstrators disguised as American indians, destroyed an entire shipment of tea sent by the East India Company because of the Tea Act of May 10, 1773. They boarded the ships and threw the chests of tea into Boston Harbor, ruining the tea. The British government responded harshly and the incident evolved into the American Revolution.
My thoughts before the Revolutionary War
I have a lot of opinions on all the events that occurred before the Revolutionary War because i am a Neutralist. I believe that the stamp act was awful and that they should not have taxed us, but i also think that the Boston Tea Party was good so we weren't taxed for tea anymore. I am a little more on the Patriot side though, because I believe I am a person who vigorously supports their country and is prepared to defend it against any enemies.
