It has been a busy week here at St. Patrick. Our 8th grade students who plan to attend Columbus next year participated in Step Up Day on Wednesday morning. I was very proud of how well they represented us.

Third and fourth grade students enjoyed a unique learning opportunity this week. The Grout Museum District's "Museum School" is an innovative program that invites local third grade students to attend "school" at the Grout Museum District for four days. The program is the only one of its kind in the state and is aligned to the Iowa Core. We are so lucky to be able to participate in this program!

Please remember to join us on Saturday, April 9, for our Fine Arts and Leadership Showcase. Enjoy our preschool through grade 8 artwork on display in the gym, followed by presentations on the first floor of our school. Please enter through the CCC doors to make sure you see all our presentations. We are using an open-house style for the presentations so you can move from room to room to see what various grade levels have done to apply Catholic social justice principles with their leadership skills through their service learning projects. Cookies, punch, and the Easter Bunny will be waiting for you in the school cafeteria.
