A Special Earth Day Project
Mrs Beebe and Mrs. Welch have a special project for you!
The Parrot Tico Tango
In honor of Earth Day on April 22, Mrs. Beebe and Mrs. Welch are sending you this project to do for fun!
Before we left school in March, Mrs. Beebe and Mrs. Welch were planning to collaborate (that means work together!) on a project, combining the library, art and technology. Because they were so excited to work on this project together, they decided to do it from home! This project was designed for group work with the teachers. Now that we are learning from home, this is a great child/adult project to do together.
This project has 3 parts.
Part 1: Mrs Beebe and Mrs. Welch read the story, The Parrot Tico Tango.
Part 2: Mrs. Beebe will show you how to draw and paint your own parrot.
Part 3: Mrs. Welch will show you how to use technology to bring your painting to life! For this part you can watch the video or follow the attached directions below.
You can do this project in one day or over a few days. It’s totally up to you! Mrs. Beebe and Mrs. Welch would love if you would email your final products to them when you finish. They’re so excited to see your hard work!
