"LENT A HAND" FUNDRAISER - Last Day for Donations March 24th
St. Patrick School is looking to “Lent A Hand” this Lenten season by raising money for Catholic Social Services Sign of Hope. By supporting Sign of Hope, you are giving struggling families a chance to find stability for their children, providing nutritious meals to those in need, ensuring crisis counselling is accessible to those struggling with their mental health, enabling homeless youth to access a safe place, and more.
Donations of Toonies and Loonies and loose change can be sent with your child and collected in the big GREEN buckets in the classrooms starting March 1st and ending March 24th.
Let’s start collecting and show our school’s GIVING SPIRIT!

ALBERTA EDUCATION ASSURANCE (AEA) SURVEY
Thank you for completing our EICS division Assurance surveys. This data is important in future planning. All parents within our school had the opportunity to complete.
We are now asking for your assistance with the completion of a second survey that Alberta Ed. has just released. The former Alberta Education Accountability Survey is now called the ALBERTA EDUCATION ASSURANCE (AEA) SURVEY. This year’s student, teacher and parent surveys will include questions that measure both the required Alberta Education Assurance Measures (AEAMs) as well as the previous Accountability Pillar survey measures. Again, this data will be used in the school improvement process.
TIMELINE: March 15-April 23-this survey is now open.
**Please Note: The parent survey for larger schools will continue to include only parents of students in grades 4, 7 and 10.**
Gr. 4 PARENTS Only: Mailing of parent surveys will start by March 25. You will receive your random access code (RAC) through the mail to complete the survey.
Gr. 4 STUDENTS Only: Our Gr. 4 students will be surveyed at school with the assistance of their teachers. RAC codes will be provided at the school level.
TEACHERS: Our teachers will be surveyed at school. RAC codes will be provided at the school level.
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

OLMP - ANNUAL LENTEN FUNDRAISER - GREAT MOTHER'S DAY GIFT!
Historically, OLMP School has done an annual Lenten fundraiser to help an organization in the community and to remind us of the importance of giving up something for the good of others. This year our Student Leaders are working to raise funds for the OLMP outdoor activity fund. We have had a number of enhancements take place this past year (basketball hoops, soccer nets, outdoor rink, etc.) and plan to continue this work into the spring and for the 2021-2022 school year.
You can purchase flower-filled hanging baskets, patio planters, tomatoes, herb trays, or strawberry plants for family members, neighbours and friends. This can be a great Mother’s Day gift as these will arrive the Wednesday before Mother’s Day! All sales will go through Parent PowerSchool portal. Be sure to track your own orders if you sell for others!
See photos and all the details in the pdf linked below.
If St. Pat's Parents are interested in placing an order, email it to olmp@eics.ab.ca or check out the OLMP Parent Council Facebook Page.
