Climate, Land and Geography:
The Bahamas is located in the Atlantic Ocean, next to Cuba and Under Florida. It is surrounded by many other islands. The average temperature in Nassau (the capital) is 88 degrees during June through September. During January and February the average in Nassau is 77 degrees. The Bahamas is 5,359 square miles. There are more than 700 islands and 2,500 cays within 100,000 square miles.

Religon, Food, and Clothes
In the Bahamas most Bahamians are Protestants. 35% percent are Baptist, 15% are Anglican, 14% Roman Catholic, 8% Pentocostal, 5% Church of God, 4% methodist, 15% Adherents, and 4% other or have no religion. Bahamians take there religion very seriosuly. Family meals are traditionally served on Sundays, home cooking is prefered but the U.S has brought fast food to the Bahamas. Bahamians now eat fast food around twice a week. Bahamian food is usually high in calories and cholesterol. More than half the population is overweight. Tips in the Bahamas is 15% insted of 20%. Breakfast most often served with eggs, fish, grits, corn beef, and sausage. Lunch and dinner are heavy meals usually served with steamed or fried meat, peas n' rice, coleslaw, potato salad, macoroni and cheese
