Bolivia

The Plurinational State of Bolivia
...is a diverse, developing Latin American nation containing towering peaks of the Andes Mountains, sloping valleys filled with cloud forests, and hot, humid Amazonian Lowlands. Bolivia was colonized by the Spanish in the 1500s and gained autonomy in 1825. Since independence, the nation has encountered political instability, economic turmoil, and environmental controversy. Under the guidance of an increasingly stable leftist government, the nation continues to grow and develop.
