We have workshops that can assist you with writing criteria and standards, quality assure your subjects and drop-in-sessions!
5 June 2019, Writing Criteria and Standards. 1pm, Faculty of Arts and Education and Faculty of Science.
This workshop, led by Deb Murdoch, will be helpful for those writing criteria and standards for their assessment tasks. We will look at learning outcomes, the student actions based on the outcomes and writing criteria in alignment. Standards that differentiate the levels of achievement for each criteria will be discussed and principles for developing a rubric will be employed to create the marking scheme for an assessment task.

12 June 2019, Subject Outline Quality Assurance. 1pm, Faculty of Arts and Education and Faculty of Science.
If you are a subject convenor or coordinator, a moderator or doing quality assurance, this workshop will support you in your work. Abstract: We will show you what you need to look out for when writing and checking subject outlines before publication for the 201930 session. We will look at the editable portions of the Subject Outline Tool, with the main focus on assessment quality. This session demonstrates the use of the new QA Declarations.

19 June 2019, Forty-Five Minute Zone: The power of now. 1pm, Faculty of Arts and Education. Faculty of Science.
The now moment is the opportunity to look back and look forward: reflecting on what can be learned from current subject delivery, in preparation for next session subject offerings. Today’s session will focus on using learning data to gain insights into student learning and engagement that can guide actions to enhance the learning experience in your subject.

26 June 2019, Forty-Five Minute Zone: Up to Speed with Grade Centre. 1pm, Faculty of Arts and Education. Faculty of Science.
An introductory session for the uncertain. This session is an opportunity for you to learn how the check your Grade Centre setup. Yes … there are lots of guides and resources for Grade Centre available. We realise, though, there are times when teaching staff would prefer to listen and ask questions rather than just read – so here are 45 minutes for that opportunity.
