Math Updates:
Reading Updates:
Teachers analyzed the data using the District Assessment Protocol to identify strengths and weaknesses. They also compared Qtr.1 assessment to Qtr. 3, which assessed the same literary standards. Teachers discussed instructional implications based on the data, and identified trends across the grade level. Lastly, we discussed alternative ways of teaching those standards for mastery.

Security
- If you are using a walkie, please insure it is turned on and the volume is turned up in which you can hear communication. Please also refrain from saying confidential information on the walkie, remember visitors can hear our communication.
- Please make sure you are watching students at recess. Be mindful of red zone students, students behaviors and student location. Being proactive and knowing your students can help avoid conflicts. Also, the hallway door needs to be closed at all times. Please also bring your cell phone in case of an emergency.
- All visiting parents should have a visitor pass. Please stop any parents that don’t have a pass.
- Please ensure you are reporting to your morning or afternoon post on time. Please also monitor and correct student behavior as needed.
Fieldtrips
Please ensure all chaperones have been backgrounded checked.
- Please make sure you turn in money on a daily basis.
- Please make sure your fieldtrip is on the master calendar.

12 out of 12 teachers had standard based I can statements posted.
11 out of 12 teachers had anchor charts visible to all students.
10 out of 12 teachers were conferencing with students.
11 out of 12 teachers provided the bulk of the mini lesson to independent writing.
10 out of 12 teachers followed the structure of the mini lesson.
12 out of 12 classrooms had engaged writers who were excited about being writers!
