Wake Up and Smile! Veteran Style!

Please send this special "Good Morning Truman" to any of your beloved Veterans. We loved celebrating those who drove by on Wednesday, and we dedicated today's morning assembly to Veterans as well!

Don't forget we will be out of school for Thanksgiving Break November 23-27!

According to today's information, we WILL be in school next week.

A Video Greeting from Mrs. Jackson:

At Truman We Pledge to:

Please stand, place your right hand over your heart, and join in The Pledge of Allegiance.

The original Pledge of Allegiance was written by Francis Bellamy. It was first given wide publicity through the official program of the National Public Schools Celebration of Columbus Day, which was printed in The Youth's Companion of September 8, 1892, and at the same time sent out in leaflet form to schools throughout the country.

Take some time to learn a patriotic song honoring America!

Our Favorite Thing!

Every year we love to have Veterans share how they served our country individually. We missed hearing all the great stories this year, but Mrs. Tune made sure we were able to hear at least one account of bravery! The next two videos highlight Mrs. Tune and her dad.

As we begin another day, let us pause for a moment of silence, to reflect, meditate, pray or engage in other silent activities.
