Glen Rock BOE Meeting Highlights

January 2nd, 2023

The BOE certified the election results and welcomed Ms. Stephanie Carosella and Ms. Elizabeth Carr and as new members to the BOE and congratulated Ms. Sinead Rundell on her successful reelection as a Trustee.

The Board of Education approved Mrs. Sinead Rundell as President and Dr. Damali Robinson as Vice-President.

The Board of Education reapproved the district mission statement.

The Glen Rock School District founded on principles of education, in partnership with a supportive community, provides an exceptional education to all students to cultivate resilient, responsible and engaged global citizens.

The Board of Education approved the following to provide professional services for the 2023 calendar year.

Fogarty and Hara, Esqs. to provide legal services;
Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, Esqs. to provide bond counsel services;
Parette Somjen Architects, Rockaway, NJ, to provide architectural services;

The Board of Education approved Ms. Karyn Stevenson as the New Jersey School Board representative for the district.

The Board of Education read, adopted and signed the New Jersey Board Member Code of Ethics.

The Board of Education approved the following 2023 Board of Education meeting dates.
