Announcements for October 15 to October 19
Grand Opening - High School Auditorium
The public is invited to celebrate the grand opening of the auditorium with a community reception on October 16, 2018, at 6:00 pm. The ceremony will include a ribbon-cutting, short performances by BFHS band and choir students, and recognition of individuals who contributed to the project. Following the grand opening, guests can enjoy light refreshments in the new academic wing. At 7:00 pm, a vocal concert featuring the BFHS choir and their guests, the North Polk High School choir, will follow the grand opening. Behind-the-scenes tours of the auditorium and new band room will be available around 8:00 pm. These events are free and open to the public.

Attention Seniors: CPR REQUIREMENT FOR GRADUATION
The Healthy Kids Act (Senate File 2425) requires all students to complete a certification course for cardiopulmonary resuscitation by graduation. CPR can be taken with the nurse during 2 WIN periods your senior year, or you can take the Red Cross online CPR course at aeak12online.org
