Kirk Fenton News
22nd February 2019
Dear Parents / Carers,
We have been enjoying the warmer weather this week by getting outside more. This week the older girls have taken part in a football competition where they came 2nd in their league. They looked very smart representing the school in their brand new kit that was purchased by the Friends of Kirk Fenton so thank you for that.
Unfortunately, we have had a couple of near misses outside school this week due to the number of cars and the way some are parked. I have been in contact with the police and have attached a letter to this news letter. I would appreciate you taking the time to read it.
For those coming to the Parent Council meeting that was arranged for 8th March, I apologise but I now need to move the meeting back a week to the 15th March at 9 am.
I hope you all have a happy and safe half term,
Mrs Karen Williams

Second hand books and cake sale Friday 8th March
Also to celebrate World Book Day, we will be selling second hand books and delicious cakes on Friday after school in the main playground.... we are relying on donations, so please send any spare books or yummy cakes (please, no nuts) into school Thursday/Friday with your child, and remember to bring some cash so you can browse for goodies too!
Curry Night and Bag2School
These were both a great success this week, thank you very much to everyone who got involved; we couldn't do it without you!
Wishing you all a fun and relaxing half term.
