Message from the School Committee…..

Dear Watertown Faculty and Staff,


The work each and every one of you do every single day is important, valued, and seen. This week we celebrate our incredible educators for the work they do to support, teach, mentor, and bring learning and joy to every classroom within WPS. Our schools and the entire Watertown community lean on your expertise, your dedication, and your commitment to our students and their success.


Every day you walk into our building ready to guide our children through a day of learning new ideas, being good friends and good community citizens, and figuring out how to master skills from writing their names, to complex algebra equations. You bring so much knowledge, time and effort to accomplish these goals, and you have done so through a pandemic and multiple building transitions, and with such an amazing fortitude and patience to make sure that the students always receive what they deserve and need to do and feel their very best in our schools.


Each one of you have made a real impact on students, and we are so grateful for your work and efforts. On this Teacher Appreciation Week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing educators.
