Principal's Message
We are very proud of the SMA students and staff for striving to walk with the Lord on a daily basis. We are learning to trust Him and his plan for us. We are also learning the best way to understand and acknowledge His plan for us is to walk with Him. Walking with him includes regularly attending Mass, praying, and learning about Him in scripture. We have the best example that He provided to us and that is his Son. His death was no accident. It was part of His incredible plan. Thankfully, Jesus accepted this plan. We hope that you are having fulfilling and fruitful Lenten Season.

SMA COVID DATA
SMA School "Celebrations & Activities"
Class Picture Day-April 4, 2022
Presidential Service Awards are due APRIL 1, 2022!
As a reminder, St. Michael the Archangel School is participating in the President’s Volunteer Service Award Program. The Award recognizes United States citizens who have achieved minimum hours of service over a 12-month period, which for SMA will run from April 1, 2021-March 31, 2022.
Any SMA student who performs 26 (ages 5-10) or 50 (ages 11-15) or more hours of service will be recognized for their efforts with a pin bearing the Presidential Seal, a certificate, and a letter of recognition from the President.
It is an amazingly simple process - just keep track of service hours. A log is located on the school website at Presidential Service Award Form for website.pdf (stmichaelcp.org). You MUST fill out the first page completely and include it with the signed log. Forms must be submitted to the front office by FRIDAY, APRIL 1, 2022. Due to the tight turnaround deadline, we cannot accept forms after that date. Forms may be turned in early.
If you have any questions, email Megan Morris at morrisfamily516@gmail.com.

Camera Donations Requested
Dear Parents,
This year we have involved the SMA students in the creation of the yearbook, and many of them were very enthusiastic to participate as photographers. We had one or two usable cameras which they shared, but the quality of the photos were at times a little grainy or were difficult to take pictures with.
As the yearbook sponsor, we are reaching out to any parents who may have put away a digital camera never to be used again. If you'd like to give that camera new life, please consider donating it to SMA for the yearbook staff to use in the years to come! It would be easiest if it came with a USB cable that connects the camera to a computer USB port. Also, simple to use cameras would be most desirable. If you have a camera you would like to donate, please contact our Yearbook sponsor Mrs. Floyd @ celene.floyd@stmichaelcp.org
We thank you in advance for any donations that you would consider.
