Veteran's Day Celebration
We would like to invite veterans in your family to celebrate Veteran’s Day with us. We deeply
appreciate the sacrifices they have made for our freedom. Please encourage your family member to wear their uniform or anything to represent their branch of the military. We are planning a special recognition for each veteran that joins our celebration at 9:15am on November 8, 2019 around the flagpole in front of Rennell. Please fill out and return the form that went home indicating what Veterans will be attending. It is also attached for your convenience.
Library
The Library Sends MANY THANKS!
Many thanks to all the amazing middle school, high school and adult friends who helped the library during our book fair! Thanks to all of our supportive Rennell families we will have almost $6,000 in profits that we will use to buy new books and pay for visiting authors in the Spring. More importantly you helped us place over 4,000 books in student's homes! Great things are happening at Rennell! YOU help make RENNELL GREAT!!!
Field Day Shirts
Field day shirts are available thru November 5!
Make sure to select your student's teacher from the drop-down to order the correct class color.

No Place for Hate
Parents,
We are so excited to become a No Place for Hate school this year!!!
So, what is No Place for Hate and what kinds of things will we do?
No Place for Hate means we will be a school that is accepting of everyone regardless of someone’s skin color, gender, race or ethnicity. Throughout this week your child has had the opportunity to sign the promise pledge both within their classroom, which will be displayed as a reminder of their promise. In addition to that, they have also signed the school banner that is displayed in the main hall near the front doors of our school. We are asking that parents (YOU) sign the banner as well to support our initiative to be a NO Place for Hate. Anytime you come to Rennell whether you’re here for lunch or as a Watch Dog Dad or when you come for parent conference day, please stop by and add your name to the banner.
Throughout the school year we will be doing many kindness activities and challenges to promote our goal of being a kind place and above all else a school that is a place for NO hate. We are excited to begin this endeavor and we look forward to an amazing 2019-2020 school year.
Below is the promise pledge:
