Voting Rights Acts of 1965 Addresses

The Act made it illegal to impose restrictions on federal, state and local elections that were designed to deny the vote to blacks and guaranteeing African Americans the right to vote.
Its object will be to help the African American's fulfill the rights which helped African Americans from exercising their right to vote under the Fifteenth Amendment (1870) to the Constitution of the United States.
It propose to enforce the 15th Amendment of the Constitution, which forbade the states and the federal government to deny suffrage to any citizen on account of race, color, or previous condition of servitude.
