Homecoming - Friday, September 24
- There is no ASP on this day: Please make arrangements to ensure your student is supervised. Events/activities begin at 4:00 pm (1/2 and 3/4 soccer will begin at 3:30). Families may park and remain on campus during the span of time between dismissal and the start of events. Dismissal will still begin at 3:00 pm and all students must be accounted for by 3:15 pm and for the remainder of the event.
- 1/2 and 3/4 Soccer Teams: The Northern Vermont University soccer team will be at school to work with students from 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
- 5/6 Soccer Team: This team will play Johnson Rec from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
- 7/8 Soccer Team: This team will play Good Shepherd from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
- Food: Pizza on Main, Nepali Cuisine, and Green Mountain Kettle Corn will be selling food; our vendors prefer cash.
Games: Games will include pumpkin ring toss, candy corn bowling, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, pumpkin sticker art, temporary tattoo station, and corn hole. Stations will be set up around the school grounds.
PTO Station: At the PTO table, there will be a candy corn guessing game, guess the weight of the pumpkin, and an apparel sale.
Playground/Nature Trail: The playground is open for family-supervised use - the nature trail is closed! Students (even if supervised) are not permitted to use the nature trail during Homecoming.
Homecoming is a dress down day for students and staff - we ask that folks wear school colors (burgundy and/or gold)!

Cross-Country
Middle school XC had a meet on Tuesday at the Kingdom Cup in Derby and BJAMS runners swept the 3000 meter (1.86 miles) event!
Leila Griffith was first overall female of 16 runners, in 13:20.59, a full 58 seconds ahead of the second place finisher.
Lucy Stabach finished her first-ever XC event in 19:46, with a smile on her face.
Thomas Kehler (attending and racing for Hazen) was first overall male out of 34 competitors in a blistering 12:03.13.
Luke Slesar in second overall at 12:33.33. Even the pace setter on a mountain bike had noticeable trouble staying ahead of Thomas. Participating were athletes from Stowe Middle School (including BJAMS kids), Lamoille Union, Hazen Union, and Lyndon.

PLEASE NOTE: ASP is full on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and we are not accepting new registrations for these two days.
There is no ASP on Friday, September 24, due to Homecoming. Families must make arrangements to ensure their students are supervised during Homecoming.

ASP registration is required (regular $15 charge applies - no extra fee for this special offering). If your student is already registered to attend regular ASP, please email Michelle Tomlinson to sign up your student for these instructional sessions.

Live Your Why: Passport Edition
