A WORD FROM 3RD
Week of February 1- February 5th
Mrs. McKay's 3rd Grade Class
LEARNING GUIDE
Welcome to Week 21!
Before class starts Monday, PARENTS please note:
- Absences/Tardies/Early Dismissal- Being present at school is one of the main factors that determines a child’s success while in school. It is my hope that each students is present, on time, every day for the entire day. However, I know that circumstances arise. When a child is absent, I must have a note from the parent/guardian explaining the cause of the absence. State Law requires that the note be sent on the first day the child returns from an absence. Please check out the South Carolina Bar's site on Truancy:https://www.scbar.org/public/get-legal-help/common-legal-topics/truancy/
- Schedule Change- Please note the schedule change for Wednesday
- Asynchronous Afternoon Assignments- ALL students are responsible for completing asynchronous assignments in the afternoon. Please ensure your child completes and submits their afternoon assignments by the end of the day. These assignments ARE graded too.
- Missing Assignments- Moving forward, students will only have until the end of the school week to complete any missing assignments. Only their first attempt will be recorded.
- Checking Student Work- You can check your child's assignments by logging into their tasks: Mastery Connect, LiveWorksheet Workbooks, Big Ideas, Padlet, etc.
