Scholastic Book Fair is NEXT week!

Next week, March 16th -20th is our Spring Bookfair! This is a great opportunity to provide adventures for your child during Spring Break and over the summer without having to travel! Mrs. Scott has worked closely with scholastic to provide a great collection of new hits and classic favorites for you and your family to enjoy. Running Club

The CLE Running Club Cougar 5K will be Friday, April 17th at 9:30 AM. Notes and permission slips will be coming home after Spring Break. We are getting excited about this event and are so proud of the students for training well throughout the year.

CPS Food Services Water Bottles

The Food Services Department is selling Wampus Cat aluminum water bottles for $3. The bottles will come filled with water but they have a reusable cap that will allow you to support the Cats all summer long. Bottles will be sold on a first come-first serve basis. CPS and the Corona Virus

We appreciate your concern and we are dedicated to the health and safety of our students. Right now, there are NO confirmed cases in Conway. While there is a lot of talk about it right now, because the CDC wants to spread the word about PREVENTION and PREPARATION, we want our families to know that our district is doing both!

Prevention: We continue to remind students and staff-- WASH YOUR HANDS for 20 seconds, don’t touch your hands, eyes, and mouth, stay home if you are sick. CPSD cleans and sanitizes each school (along with school buses, offices, and common areas, not just our classrooms) with germicide disinfectant “foggers.” This is in addition to wiping down surfaces with cleaners that have a guaranteed “kill claim” on all viruses.

Preparation: District leaders are monitoring the situation closely in conjunction with city officials, local hospitals, and the health department. If there was an outbreak here and we needed to close a school, we do have a plan that includes using “AMI days.” We have plans to stay in communication regarding all of this to our families and we will continue to update people as needed.
