Character Analysis
Physical description
Elie wiesel was small and thin as a result of his treatment by the nazis. In the concentration camps he was malnurished and normally had very little strength. He was almost always hungry and was fed only a small piece of bread everyday. He was forced to wark in a electronics sorting facity and was lashed weekly, causing his back to constintaly hurt.
Mental / emotional description
Elie was usually emotionaly stable but soon felt that he was slowly going insane due to the treatment of him and other jews by the Nazis. He was very loyal and tried to stay near his father and tried to keep himself alive for his father. He was very religous although he sometimes felt that his God had abandoned him.
