Rockwell's Spring Parent Teacher Conferences
Rockwell's Spring Parent Teacher Conference Sign Up Closes February 1st!
Rockwell's Spring Parent Teacher Conferences will be held in person on Monday, February 13th, 4:15-8:15; virtually via Zoom on Tuesday, February 14th, from 4:15-8:15 p.m.; and virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, February 15th, 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Parents/guardians will be signing up for a 20 minute time period using the "Synergy ParentVUE" website to meet with your child's teacher. We will open the sign up window on Friday, January 20th, at 8:00 a.m. Parents/guardians will simply log in to the ParentVue website and choose an available time slot with your child's teacher.
For virtual conferences, when it’s time for your conference, we encourage you to sign in to the zoom a couple of minutes early and wait in the digital “waiting room”. Teachers will admit parents after they have signed off the previous conference.
Parents/guardians are still encouraged to visit specialty teachers either before or after your scheduled team teacher conference time, just as you have done in the past. These teachers will have a separate link that will be open during the conference hours. We will send out these Zoom links on February 10th.
If your child sees a Resource, Speech, Math or Literacy teacher, you will receive information from them about conference times and Zoom links.
If your student is in the Alternate Curriculum Program (Dedman or Kazmierczak), please select both the ACP teacher and the homeroom teacher at the same time slot. This will allow both teachers to attend the conference.
You may begin making appointments via “ParentVue” on Friday, January 20th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. The window to schedule an appointment will close on February 1st at 4:00 p.m.

Special Election For Continuation of Levy Override
The Millard Board of Education is asking our community to continue the levy override authority the district has had since 2018. The levy override has provided financial stability to support the important work of Millard's teachers and staff. State law requires levy overrides to be reauthorized by voters after five years. Millard residents will vote on the continuation of this authority in a special mail-in election on March 14th. More information about the levy override is available on the district website at https://www.mpsomaha.org/millards-levy-override Additionally, the district will host four public information sessions about the levy override. Superintendent Dr. John Schwartz and Chief Financial Officer Chad Meisgeier will give a presentation and be available for questions. The information sessions will be as follows:
- Tuesday, January 31st, 6 p.m. at Millard South High School, 14905 Q Street, Omaha, NE 68137
- Thursday, February 2nd, 6 p.m. at Millard West High School, 5710 South 176th Avenue, Omaha, NE 68135
