Dear RHS Parents and Guardians,

This communication is to inform you that your child's teacher will be available to provide additional academic support each Wednesday. Our school community wants to make certain that we are doing everything possible to ensure that your child is being successful and passing ALL classes.

As of today, your student(s) TEACHER(S) have made a seat available to help your student during this weekly Wednesday Academic Support.

It is recommended that students communicate with their teacher regarding their need for academic support or simply show-up at the appropriate time. Refer to Schoology for the most updated grade information and course percentages. If you have any questions please contact the teacher of record. Student and parent resources are below.

What you can expect from this academic support session:

  • Continued individual support to reinforce learning
  • Personal connection
  • Higher success rate
  • Improved attitude
  • Student engagement

Sessions are in-person for all Students in Cohort A and B. Digital Academy Students may attend support session in-person or request to Zoom-In for academic support.


Student Academic Support Sessions

  • Academic support will be In-Person and/or Zoom (dependent on student cohort choice)

  • Students will follow the schedule below.

  • "*Electives" colored in "BLUE" will be in the morning.

  • "**Electives" colored in "Gold" will be in the afternoon.

Student Selection

  • Students who are failing or in need of additional academic support are able to attend. Students should communicate with their teacher when possible, so the teacher knows they will be in attendance.


  • Buses will run 2-hours later than the originally scheduled time. Example, if your bus normally comes at 7:05am, the bus on Wednesdays will come at 9:05am (this is the only change to a students bus schedule on Wednesdays)

  • Pick-up location will remain the same

  • Drop-off location will remain the same


  • IN-PERSON: Upon entering the building each student will check in using their iPad. Students will scan the bar code with their name on the back at one of the scanners upon entering the building . Then report to the Student Center for further information.

  • ZOOM-IN: Access Zoom session a few minutes prior to the start and stand by in the waiting-room.

Breakfast & Lunch

  • Breakfast will be provided for all students from 9:30 - 9:55 a.m. in the Student Center for those that wish to eat.

  • Lunch will be provided for all students from 11:36 - 11:56 a.m. in the Student Center for those that wish to eat.

Student Reminders

  • IN-PERSON & ZOOM-IN: Students will be permitted to stay with a teacher for a longer period of time, if needed.

  • IN-PERSON ONLY: If Student needs support in additional courses, beyond what was initially requested the student will follow the above schedule and locate the teacher using the "ADVISORY ROOM ASSIGNMENTS" tab above.
