Meet Your Missions Partner
Making those near and far a little more familiar
Say Hello to Path2Freedom!
Path2Freedom is a new Mission Partner for 2019. It is a faith based non-profit organization committed to providing hope and healing to child survivors of human trafficking in Lee and Collier counties. Path2Freedom recently purchased and renovated the home you see on the video. It is a lovely property on 5 acres of land in SWFL.
As you can see on the video they have worked diligently on renovating and it's a beautiful home. The Home, named "Magnolia House", will provide shelter, counseling, equine therapy, home schooling, and support services for up to 6 children as they journey from rescue to recovery. A Christian couple will be live-in House Mentors.
According to the former Attorney General Pam Bondi, there were 381 identified victims in the state of Florida, with only 19 beds to rehabilitate these girls. We have chosen to support Path2Freedom because there is such a need for Safe Homes with a Rescue Program. The Home is right in our own neighborhood.
As you can see from the video, many volunteers helped with the rennovation of the home. There will be opportunities for some of us to assist on a work day or in some other capacity.
Path2Freedom is part of a collaborative effort throughout Florida to end human sex trafficking. It was born out of a calling and a promise to the men, women, and children enslaved in human trafficking. Their mission is to change lives and meet the needs of those who have been rescued.
Path2Freedom has been working to develop an 80-acre campus complete with all the necessary facilities and services to promote health, healing, and growth for those who endure this horrific tradegy. They want to provide a place of refuge for girls 13-17 yrs old with unique care and attention that is needed.
This property, now the Magnolia House, represents their ground level dream. Every dream starts somewhere and P2F believes this is the first step to creating the 80-acre campus of their dreams.
