Helpful dining out tools

i. What to do when you are immediately seated? Put your napkin in your lap, if they have given you your menu look at the foods your interested in.

ii. Define the following: a la carte and a la mode? A la carte- Listing or serving food that can be ordered as separate items, rather than part of a set meal. A la mode- Served with ice cream.

iii. How to get a waiter’s attention? By making eye contact with the waitor and saying "excuse me".

iv. What is gratuity and how you should figure it on bill? A tip given to a waiter. You take 20% of the total cost of your meal then use that as the tip and add it to the cost of the meal.

v. What you should do when you finish each course? Follow the hostesses cue.

vi. 5 other helpful hints while dining out? Chew with your mouth closed, use manners, put your napkin in you lap, be respectful, do not smack your food.
