Dear Parents, Caregivers and Students
Student Led Conferences
Have you booked in yet? Please go to Gateway to make your appointment for your child. For further information about these conferences click here.
If you have more than one child at Glenealy School, please try to space your appointments out so that you have enough time in the classroom to look and interact with each of your children. You can then visit other areas like PE, music and Chinese together as a family.
The dates are:
Thursday 2 March (pm) or
Friday 3 March (during the school day) - School will not be open for lessons this day.
Parking on Hornsey Road
If you or your driver are parking on Horsey Road please cease doing this immediately. This is a safety hazard for pedestrians entering or leaving our school. We have tried all measures to remove cars and sadly the police will need to get involved from now on to protect our children's safety. If you see someone parked on the footpath, please ask them to move or take their registration number and report it to the traffic police through their website or via the telephone number 36611602. We all need to work together to make our school safe. Thanks for your help with this.
ESF 50 Year Celebrations
As you will be aware ESF is celebrating 50 years in Hong Kong. What a milestone! Over the weekend all ESF schools came together with a celebration of sport which some of our year 4-6 children attended. Our students did so well in their cross country races which were run in extremely hot conditions followed by mixed ESF teams in netball and football. It was a great celebration - thanks to Ms Thompson for organising the netball competition. The next event for our students is the ESF Choral Concert in which our Year 5 students will be participating in on March 17th. We look forward to seeing all of the Year 5 parents at the evening.
Kind regards
Brenda
